Bio: Greg and his wife, Carol, have served with the Sylvan Hills church since March 1, 2006. Greg is chairman of the Sherwood Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. He holds a BTh from the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver, a BA in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University, and an MDiv. in Christian Ministry from Southern Christian University. Carol earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University and teaches in the North Little Rock school system.
Sandy Wells
Children's Minister
Bio: Sandy has been our Children's Minister since 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Child Development at Harding University. She has been in ministry for
over 14 years and treasures the relationships she has formed with the children and families at Sylvan Hills. In addition to her extensive training in early childhood, she has had articles

Sandy's favorite part of life is being the Mommy of Sophie, Samuel, and Scarlett. Sandy works with our kids and families from birth through 6th grade. Her goal for Children's Ministry at
Sylvan Hills is to help kids and families fall in love with Jesus.”

J Massey
Student Minister
Bio: J and his wife Madison have been married since 2017. They met while doing mission work at the City of Children in Ensenada, Mexico. At Harding University J earned a Bachelor of Arts with a degree in Bible and Family Ministry, along with a minor in Spanish. J works with the Student Ministry (Grades 7-12). He joined the staff full-time in May of 2018 after serving the congregation in a part-time/intern role for 2 years.

Wayne Welford
Facilities Support
Bio: Wayne and his wife, Dianne, have been married since September of 1974. They have one son and have been members at Sylvan Hills since July 1989. He is retired from the Air Force and also worked for Union Pacific for 4 years before coming to work at Sylvan Hills in 1999.
